Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging Krystal Research Consultancy ("we," "our," or "us") for research services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

We provide research consultancy services including but not limited to:

• Academic research support (literature reviews, methodology consultation, data analysis)
• Business research (market studies, competitor analysis, consumer surveys)
• NGO and development services (M&E frameworks, impact assessments, proposal writing)

The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each project will be agreed upon in writing before work begins.

3. Client Responsibilities

When engaging our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information necessary for the project
• Respond to queries and provide feedback in a timely manner
• Respect agreed-upon timelines and milestones
• Make payments according to the agreed schedule
• Use deliverables ethically and in accordance with applicable laws

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are agreed upon for each project individually. Generally:

• A deposit may be required before work begins
• Payment milestones may be tied to project phases
• Final payment is due upon delivery of completed work
• Late payments may incur additional fees

All prices are quoted in Ghana Cedis (GH₵) unless otherwise specified.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment:

• Research deliverables and reports become the property of the client
• We retain the right to use anonymized methodologies and general findings for internal improvement
• Raw data ownership depends on the nature of the project and will be specified in the project agreement

We retain ownership of proprietary tools, templates, and methodologies used in service delivery.

6. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding:

• Client business information and strategies
• Research data and findings
• Project details and deliverables

We will not disclose confidential information to third parties without explicit written consent, except as required by law.

7. Academic Integrity

For academic research support services:

• Our services are intended to support, guide, and enhance your academic work
• Clients are responsible for ensuring compliance with their institution's academic integrity policies
• We do not condone or support academic dishonesty
• Final submissions to academic institutions remain the client's responsibility

8. Revisions and Changes

Our standard service includes:

• One round of revisions within the agreed scope
• Additional revisions may be subject to extra charges
• Major scope changes may require a new agreement

Revision requests must be submitted within 14 days of deliverable receipt.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We do not guarantee specific outcomes (e.g., thesis approval, funding success)

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a project with written notice. Upon termination:

• Payment is due for work completed up to the termination date
• Completed deliverables will be provided to the client
• Confidentiality obligations continue after termination

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation or, if necessary, through the appropriate courts in Ghana.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
