Privacy Policy

This policy describes what this website does with your information. It does not describe how research data is handled in client projects, which is agreed with each client.

When you send a message through the contact form, we receive the details you type in: your name, email address, phone number (if you give one), the service you are asking about, and your message. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and to prepare a proposal if you ask for one.

The form sends your message to our server, which emails it to the Krystal Research team through a Gmail mail account (Google's mail servers carry the message). The email also records the time it was sent and the IP address it came from. We do not keep submissions in a database: an enquiry exists in our mailbox until we delete it.

To limit abuse, the server keeps recent IP addresses in memory for up to ten minutes so it can limit how many messages one address can send. This is not written to disk. The form also contains a hidden field that people never see; automated spam tends to fill it in, and those messages are discarded.

If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site looks the same next time. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not use analytics.

The site's font is bundled with the site, so your browser does not contact a font service when you visit. If you follow the WhatsApp link, WhatsApp opens and its own terms and privacy policy apply to that conversation. Email and phone links open the apps on your device.

Like any website, the server that hosts this site may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested.

You can ask us to tell you what we hold from your enquiry, correct it or delete it by emailing josh.krystalresearch@gmail.com. If you would rather not use the form, you can email, call or message us on WhatsApp instead.

If this site starts doing anything new with your information, we will update this page first.
